Care is affordable and open to all. Families First and Smart Steps vouchers accepted.

Food Bank

Emergency Food Boxes

Monday through Friday 12 – 3 pm.

Open to all residents of Davidson County. Must have ID.

Senior Hours

Monday through Friday 8:30 – 11 am.

Seniors may receive emergency food boxes and supplemental commodity boxes through the USDA (must be registered, meet income eligibility requirements, and be at least 60 years old).

Adult Education

Are you ready to earn your high school diploma or need help studying for the HiSET exam? Do you want to learn new skills in construction management, information technology, or hospitality? Our community classes offer opportunities to develop skills that can help you advance in these fields.

Classes are held Monday through Thursday.

Enrollment takes place every Friday starting at 9:00 AM and includes intake paperwork and TABE (Tennessee Adult Basic Education) testing.

After-School Program Enrollment

Martha O’Bryan Center’s After-School Programs provide academic and social-emotional support to students in grades K-8, offering a safe and enriching environment after school hours. These programs, available at multiple locations, serve students from local schools, with specific focus on math, reading, and social-emotional learning. With continuous enrollment throughout the school year, the programs ensure that students receive personalized attention to help them succeed academically and personally.

Martha O’Bryan Center Community Site (MOBC)

  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday; 3:15 PM – 6:15 PM
  • Serves: Students from East End Prep, Explore Community School, KIPP Kirkpatrick, and any K-8 student in MNPS (charter or public).
  • Location: Explore Community School, 707 South 7th Street, Nashville, TN 37206

Warner Arts Magnet Elementary

  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday; 3:40 PM – 6:40 PM
  • Serves: Currently enrolled Warner students, grades K-5.
  • Location: 626 Russell Street, Nashville, TN 37206

Litton Middle School

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday; 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Serves: Currently enrolled Litton students, grades 6-8.
  • Location: 626 Russell Street, Nashville, TN 37216

Stratford Middle School

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday; 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Serves: Currently enrolled Stratford Middle students, grades 6-8.
  • Location: 1800 Stratford Avenue, Nashville, TN 37216
  • Transportation: Afternoon transportation home is provided.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Students needing support in math, reading, or social-emotional learning.
  • Students who can participate at least 3 out of 4 days in the 4-day-a-week programs.
  • Students who can participate at least 4 out of 5 days in the 5-day-a-week programs.

  • Enrollment is continuous throughout the school year.

Financial Rent and Utility Assistance

Martha O’Bryan offers rent and utility assistance to residents living in the 37206 or 37216 zip codes on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that assistance can be provided once every twelve months.

Health and Wellness Counseling

Martha O’Bryan Center offers a range of support services to families enrolled in the Family Success Network, including mental health counseling, financial counseling, family therapy, and family coaching. Family Coaching

Family Coaching empowers families to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential. Through personalized coaching, families receive guidance in areas such as education, employment, financial stability, and personal growth, helping them build a stronger foundation for long-term success. With a holistic approach, we work alongside families to create brighter futures, one step at a time.

Parent Education Classes

Parent Education Classes provide parents and caregivers with the tools and knowledge needed to strengthen family relationships, support their child’s development, and navigate challenges with confidence. Topics range from positive discipline and communication skills to understanding child development and promoting emotional well-being. These classes offer practical strategies in a supportive environment, empowering families to thrive together.

Summer Camp Enrollment

Get ready for an exciting and enriching summer with Martha O’Bryan Center’s Summer Camps! Our camps offer a variety of activities designed to inspire creativity, foster learning, and build friendships in a fun and supportive environment. Spiritual Counseling

A Youth and Family Chaplain offers spiritual and emotional support to children, teens, and their families, providing guidance through times of crisis, transition, or personal growth. They create a safe, compassionate space to nurture faith, resilience, and overall well-being.

Services include Individual Spiritual Counseling, Family Support during the loss of loved ones, Intergrowth Workshops, and spiritual guidance during times of hardship. Services offered upon request. Email services@marthaobryan.org.
