Hooray for Hispanic Heritage Month
Our Martha O’Bryan Center team recently celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month, which is a month-long celebration that recognizes and honors the contributions, cultures, and histories of Hispanic and Latino Americans.
It coincides with the independence days of several Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile. During Hispanic Heritage Month, various events and activities are organized across the country to celebrate the rich and diverse heritage of Hispanic and Latino communities, and that includes Martha O’Bryan Center! Popular homemade dishes from family recipes, Latin dancing lessons and fellowship were all part of the celebration.
