Too many women in our community are working hard to juggle multiple jobs, raise families, and strive for stability. Yet they remain stuck at the bottom of the economic ladder.

On October 28, women leaders from across Nashville gathered with us to launch the Women’s Ladder Fund, a new giving circle of women lifting women toward economic security and opportunity.

Our Women’s Ladder event brought together women ready to spark change and create opportunity. Over a beautiful meal from Chef Margot McCormack of Margot Café and Bar, our guests connected, shared stories, and discussed how this initiative could expand education, job training, and direct support for the women we serve.

“This event is about women coming together to open doors for one another,” said Marsha Edwards, President and CEO. “When women have the resources and support they need to climb, entire families and communities rise with them.”

In February, these leaders will reconvene to decide how this new fund can have the greatest impact.
