We’re excited to welcome Merrill Derrick Cope to lead our development team.

She brings more than two decades of fundraising strategy, donor relations, and organizational leadership to Martha O’Bryan.

Recently, she served as Director of Development at The Mary Parrish Center, significantly expanding their reach and securing critical resources. Before that, she held development and communications roles at Cumberland Heights and Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, a career arc of steady upward leadership in service of causes that matter.

“Joining Martha O’Bryan is an incredible honor. This organization has been a cornerstone of hope for Nashville’s most vulnerable communities. I am deeply committed to growing the community of support around this organization and ensuring we have the resources to meet families wherever they are on their journey,” Cope said.
