Stories, news, and insights from MOBC about once a month
Richard Exton’s “Nashville Hot Chocolate,” Tim Harvey’s “Golden Vanilla Halo,” and Joe Salvo’s “Brown Butter Orange Sage” wowed the judges at Second Presbyterian Church’s 4th Annual Ice Cream Crankn’ fundraiser, featuring 27 flavors or homemade ice cream.
Raising more than $7,000 for MOBC, this delicious fundraising event is always a summer highlight.
“This event is truly a labor of love,” said Linda Hostettler, the MOBC Ice Cream Crankn’ Coordinator. “Our staff provided fabulous support from managing the funds to marketing the event along with the incredible team from Martha O’Bryan. We are truly grateful for the community support from local retailers which contributed greatly to an attendance of over 200 people. It was a wonderful opportunity for Second to open their doors to new visitors to our church home. It touches all our hearts deeply to know we in some way are helping the families who need Martha O’Bryan’s services.”
