Stratford and Hunters Lane high schools named FAFSA champions for growth in completion rate

ASU students applying for financial aidCongratulations to Stratford STEM and Hunters Lane high schools for being named 2024-25 FAFSA Champions in the Tennessee FAFSA Challenge, which recognizes the work to help students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Hunters Lane’s completion jumped 12.1%, and Stratford’s jumped 22.5%. FAFSA completion is an important indicator of students’ intentions to enroll in higher education, advance to college coursework, and obtain a degree.

The teams at the Martha O’Bryan Center’s three Academic Student Unions at Stratford, Hunters Lane, and Maplewood high schools doubled their efforts to ensure students complete the processes to go to college, and we are so proud of their commitment and hard work.
