We are excited to announce that on June 26 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Nashville Child and Youth Collaborative, of which Martha O’Bryan Center is a member, is hosting a mayoral candidate forum named For Nashville’s Future. The event will take place at the Family and Children’s Service Honey Alexander Center and is free to the public.
The Collaborative is working to center community conversations and encourage city leadership decisions around the needs of our city’s children and youth. To dig deep into candidate commitments and reach as many voters as possible, the Collaborative has partnered with Nashville Public Radio – 90.3 WPLN News and WPLN’s daily show, This Is Nashville. The forum will be co-moderated by Khalil Ekulona, host of This is Nashville, and representatives from the Mayor’s Youth Council.
Registration is first come, first served so sign up now before it’s too late! Attendees can register here.
We want to be sure your questions are considered for the forum so please submit any ideas you have on the event webpage.
Ahead of the mayoral forum, the Collaborative will continue to release updates and information so please visit the website and follow along on social media to learn more about the needs, experiences and barriers to success for our children and youth.
Martha O’Bryan Center is proud to stand up for our youth. Will you join us and stand with them?
