Martha O’Bryan Center welcomes Adrienne Useted as Chief Financial Officer

April 14, 2025

The Martha O’Bryan Center (MOBC) welcomes Adrienne Useted as its new Chief Financial Officer. Useted joins the nonprofit’s executive leadership team with extensive experience as CFO at LEAD Public Schools, where she helped grow enrollment from 600 to nearly 3,000 students and expanded the budget from $14 million to $50 million.

In this role, Useted oversaw budgeting, financial analysis, compliance, and strategic planning while securing more than $20 million in competitive public grants. Her additional leadership experience as Chief Strategy & Growth Officer and Chief Operating Officer brings valuable expertise in strategy, operations, and human resources to MOBC’s mission.

“Adrienne is a long-time Nashville resident who understands the needs of the communities we serve, from young learners to adults navigating the barriers to good jobs and economic mobility,” says Marsha Edwards, President and CEO of MOBC. “We’re thrilled to add her perspective and deep expertise in finance and organizational growth to our leadership team.”

“With my background in K-12 education, I’m excited to expand my impact through MOBC’s far-reaching mission,” Useted says. “I look forward to applying strategic financial leadership to its innovative work addressing the root causes of poverty.”

Useted holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership through the Broad Residency, and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University.
