While the holidays were festive, 2025 also ended on a deeply sad note. Liz Denning, our Board of Directors Co-Chair, died on Christmas Eve morning.

As Marsha Edwards, our President & CEO, says, “Liz was a house of fire! She was smart and quick to laugh, a good listener, and great storyteller.”

Liz strongly believed in our work and generously gave her time and talent to our mission. With her husband, Chad, and their company, Gamma Blast Studios, they helped us share the impact of our programs and the stories of our neighbors for 20 years, including through their videos at many Champions Breakfast events.

Liz will be missed by all who knew her, including all of us at the Martha O’Bryan Center. We ask that you hold Chad and their two sons, Drake and Carson, in your prayers.
