Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell to Speak at Martha O’Bryan Center Grand Opening
Nashville, TN — Martha O’Bryan Center is thrilled to announce that Mayor Freddie O’Connell will be a featured speaker at the grand opening of the new Faith Building, a significant addition to our campus. The event, scheduled for Nov. 10th at 10am, will mark a momentous occasion for the Martha O’Bryan Center and the entire Nashville community.
The Martha O’Bryan Center, founded in 1894, has been a beacon of hope and a catalyst for positive change in Nashville for over a century. The new Faith Building represents a major expansion of the center’s facilities and will enable them to further their mission of empowering individuals and families in poverty to transform their lives through education, employment, and fellowship.
Mayor Freddie O’Connell, known for his dedication to the city and his passionate support for community initiatives, will be addressing the audience at the grand opening event. His presence underscores the significance of this occasion for the city of Nashville and the collaborative efforts to address issues related to poverty, education, and social inequality.

The new Faith Building will feature state-of-the-art learning facilities from preschool on up to adult education, as well as flexible meeting spaces, a children’s library, a food bank and resource centers that will enhance the Martha O’Bryan Center’s ability to provide education and support services to those in need. It will serve as a hub for collaboration, empowering individuals to break the cycle of poverty and improve their quality of life.
